My name is Dominique Lerminiaux.
Born in Belgium, I have been living in Germany for 35 years. In Belgium I studied translation (MA Dutch-German-English), in Germany I studied law and completed further training in the field of accounting.
Since 2017, I have been a teacher for integration courses (integration courses up to B2 level, professional language courses and orientation courses). During this period, I have participated in numerous seminars and training courses (including at telc and FIF). In 2023, I received extended approval from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees for professional language courses up to language level C2 according to the GER.
Before becoming a teacher 9 years ago, I had worked in several sectors (logistics with a focus on maritime transport, hotel management, finance and accounting). As a certified translator, I have translated numerous legal, technical and business texts.
I was raised bilingually (Dutch/French) and have worked in several European countries where I had to integrate myself and thanks to this experience I have very good intercultural skills.
Due to my studies, my professional experience, my ongoing training and my intercultural background, I offer modern and practice-oriented teaching.
